High School
ELA

Park Slope Collegiate’s high school ELA program is rooted in the belief that literacy is a powerful tool for self-expression, critical thinking, and social change. Through a rich and inclusive curriculum, students explore literature from diverse voices, engage in meaningful discussions, and develop strong writing and communication skills.
Our classrooms foster a love of reading and a respect for storytelling in all its forms—novels, poetry, drama, nonfiction, and media. Students learn to analyze texts deeply, write with clarity and purpose, and speak with confidence about the issues that matter to them.
