Social Studies

Park Slope Collegiate’s high school social studies program challenges students to think critically about history, society, and global issues. Through a diverse and inclusive curriculum, students explore the forces that have shaped our world—from ancient civilizations and revolutions to contemporary movements for justice and equity.
Our courses emphasize inquiry, debate, and analysis, helping students develop a strong understanding of historical context, civic responsibility, and cultural perspectives. Whether studying U.S. History, Global History, Government, or Economics, students learn to connect the past to the present and become informed, engaged citizens.
