High School Student Government

Student Government serves, represents, and advocates for the students at Park Slope Collegiate. We strive to facilitate and promote community by organizing school events, responding to current events, and promoting school spirit.

Making Strides Against Breast Cancer

October 19th in Prospect Park. All students and family members are welcome to help raise funds for the American Cancer Society by joining them for the walk, purchasing a lapel pins with our PSC logo in it, or by making a donation by contacting the Student Government’s teacher leader, Rahsan Williams

The Student Voice Collaborative (SVC)

SVC was established in 2010, with hopes of generating a wave of student-led change across NYC public high schools. SVC brings together students from across the City to affect the sorts of change they want to see in their schools and support one another along the way. While the program started as an initiative of NYC Department of Education Network 102, with the participation and enthusiasm of 12 pioneering students from 5 high schools, it has been growing each year. Today, the collaborative is proud to include 36 students from 16 schools across 5 networks.

Middle School Student Government

The Middle School Student Government consists of a diverse group of students who aim to create a welcoming and close-knit school community. We place an emphasis on student collaboration and community building. We also provide a platform for students to express their ideas on both school and social issues. Students organize fundraising activities for the organization as well as social and community events like school dances, talent shows, mural painting, and much more.
