Welcome to the 2019-2020 School Year!

 

Here’s what to expect on the first day of school:

 

• All students enter the building on 5th Street. Ms. Sandusky and student ambassadors with black and purple or grey Park Slope Collegiate t-shirts will be there to assist new students through scanning.

• Students pass through scanning into the cafeteria and then directly upstairs to the 4th floor.

• Middle School students will be escorted to the Middle School wing to find their classrooms.

• High School students will find their programs which will be organized alphabetically at tables on the 4th floor.  Teachers will be in hallways helping students find their schedules and classrooms.

• Students will receive metrocards before the end of the day at 3:20.

 

Tips for Day One:

 

• Wear your Park Slope Collegiate t-shirt if you have one!

• Try to arrive by 8:15. Since it’s the first day for everyone, there may be a slight line at scanning. Arriving a little early will ensure you’re on-time for 1st period.

• Supplies: Come prepared to learn! A sixth grade supply list is included here, but don’t worry about having specific supplies for your classes on the first day. Just make sure you have an independent reading book, something to write with and something to write on and you’ll be ready to start learning!
