NEW YORK EDGE
New York Edge (NY Edge) is a not-for-profit organization that provides high quality sports, arts, and educational programs to over 35 thousand New York City school children annually. NY Edge provides wholesome skill building activities, which help develop high academic performance, including health and wellness, improved self-confidence and strong character values – all of which contributes to a lifetime of success.
All Middle School students are invited to participate in the free New York Edge program. Given the state of the country in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, the program offers both remote and, when applicable, on-site programming. Once a student is signed up, they will receive login information.
You must fill out the enrollment form and return it by email or with your student if they would like to join the program. Homework assistance, leadership, literacy, and other activities (depending on remote vs. on-site) are offered to help enrich the academic and personal lives of our students, in an environment that encourages students to do
If you need an enrollment packet or if you have any questions, please call or email the Program Director, Naia Ferguson, at (732) 963-8158 or parkslopems@newyorkedge.org

Free Summer Camp at PSC with SASF
SASF has successfully operated summer camp programs for over 20 years and the programs are free to the students. At SASF, we believe that physical fitness, creative arts & academics are the birthrights of all people, as well as the pathway to succeed and become better students and citizens. Research confirms that children who spend their summertime in a fun, safe and productive learning environment perform better in the classroom. The summer program is open to students that are currently in the 6th, 7th and 8th grades and will take place at Park Slope Collegiate from 9am to 2pm. We will be offering dance programs, step, art and various sports as well as trips.
